Why doesn’t Google offer an SSL version of Adsense?
This is causing a lot of problem for those sites that are online sellers. They have to have SSL certificate but if they have SSL, the users browser will give warnings when people try to load them because the adsense codes are not SSL version. Any idea why Google is not fixing this big issue?
Because the other way around, people with no SSL on their websites will get similar warnings. Decisions of these kinds are based on usage statistics and I’m pretty sure that if Google don’t offer SSL on Adsense products, majority of people subscribed to it must be without SSL.
Although it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have two versions SSL enabled and non-SSL Adsense. On the other hand though, might be confusing for some to choose the right one.
