Google Adsense is a Great and Easy Way to Make Money
Any web site owner or webmaster who is trying to earn a profit from their sites are likely familiar with Google Adsense.
from your site if it is done right. Adsense will allow any person with a blog or an informative site to earn money, simply by placing a little code on their site pages. For more details go to www.yourgoogleincome.com. Rather than trying to figure out exactly what ads to put on their web pages, Adsense gives web site owners the ability to concentrate on their sites content.
Many webmasters are able to make a living from Adsense; however, there are also quite a few who spend all their time just trying to figure out the “magic trick” used to earn from Google Adsense. Earning a living from Google adsense ads, can seem difficult, but it’s not impossible.
If Google Adsense is going to be your only source of income, you will want to do more than just taking some Adsense code and placing it on your site. That is just not enough; you will need to do some experimenting, with placements, formats and choice of keywords.
You really should take care to build your page around a specific topic or keyword that is relevant to your site concept. This will ensure that any Adsense ads which are placed on this page are appropriate and useful to any visitors who want to know more about the topic and they will more than likely end up clicking on the Adsense ad.
You will want to take care where you place your ads. It has been proven that visitors often first look to the top left of a website when they arrive. Because this is were your visitors attention is likely to first, it is going to be one place where you might want to consider placing some ads. You can read the Google help on the Adsense website to learn more about the best locations for placing your adverts.
Another consideration when placing your ads, is to put them on high traffic pages. You can identify the pages visited most on your site by taking a look at your logs or your Google account, where you will get the page-by-page details of your visitors.
Although the skyscraper and banner ads may look good on your site, you may want to avoid using them. Often times, banners are ignored. For example, have you clicked on any banners of sites that you have visited lately?
You will want to blend your Adsense ads into your web page by using the Adsense formats. Google supplies a variety of palettes allowing you to change font colors, borders and backgrounds. There really isn’t much point in putting an ad on a page if it doesn’t blend with your site.
A very important resource that many webmasters ignore is the adsense preview tool. You can also go to www.thegoogleincome.com. This tool will allow you to preview the ads that will go on each of your pages and gives you sample ads and formats. Here is where the destination of your ads can be checked, as well as, geo targeted locations.
Remain focused on what it is that you want to achieve. However busy you may be, you must take some time and experiment with your Adsense ads so that CTR can improve. No matter what the experts say, just follow the basics, that’s the real magic to making more from Google Adsense.

What is Adsense and How Can it Benefit You?
Adsense is a popular type of advertising through the commonly used search engine, Google. This type of advertising allows website owners to earn money by advertising Google on their websites. The website will feature a link back to Google and the advertiser is paid based on the number of hits Google gets from that particular link. The advertisements can be text, images, or both. This is a very easy way for you to generate some extra revenue on your website without very much time or effort involved.
You don’t just have to advertise for Google though. With Adsense you can choose to have advertisements on your website for other websites and businesses. It is a good idea to choose those that are relevant to your own website but not a direct competitor. For example if you sell customized seat covers for vehicles you don’t want to advertise for other company’s that offer that same product. You may want to advertise for businesses that sell car cleaning products, stereo systems, windshields, and other vehicle related products that a consumer may be interested in. How do you make sure this happens?
Google works hard to filter out the types of advertisements it sends to your website. They understand all about competition. The Google Adsense software is very sophisticated. It will work hard to send you ads that are relevant to the type of business you operate. This gives you more chances of earning revenue from the ads because your target audience will be the ones seeing these ads on your website. The Google Adsense software looks at languages too. If your website offers materials in several languages then you will have the ads available in those languages as well. In fact, it is believed Google is able to determine more about your website and what consumers want than most website owners.
The amount of revenue you will generate with Adsense depends on how much each advertiser is willing to pay you for a per-click from your website. It also depends on the amount of advertising you do on your website. There is no cost to you for placing the ads on your website though so any revenue you generate will be profitable. Avoid placing too many ads on your website though or it can become distracting to the consumer. You still want them to focus on making a purchase from your website first. It is very simple too. All you are required to do is paste a couple of lines of coding from Google and place it into the html for your website.
Take a few moments and surf the internet. Chances are you will find several websites that have ads on them for other websites. This is set up to make them noticeable but not the primary focus of the actual website you are visiting. You are not responsible for the services or products of the companies you advertise for.
Google offers a great customer service support team to answer all of your questions about Adsense. There is also online help that gives you information on getting started, making the program work for your website, and troubleshooting. You can access the testing area to see how ads are going to look on your website. Does Adsense sound good to you? If you would like to sign up, go to www.Adwords.com.
Google Adsense is a great way to use your website as advertising space for Google and other businesses. There is no cost to you and you will earn money every time a user takes a link from your website to the one the ad is for. It is very simple to use and can earn you a considerable amount of money if your website has a high volume of traffic.

5 Most Important Point When Placing Google Adsense
I have been adding Google Adsense to my websites for a couple of years now with great success. It’s amazing how adsense earnings can turn into another significant monthly income stream with little effort on your part. Once the ads have been added to your site there is little or no maintenance.
Some internet marketers are earning $100s and even $1000s per day with Adsense. Although I haven’t reached that level I have learnt a little over the years to make the most profit from the adsense ads on my pages.
Here are my 5 most effective ways to maximize your Adsense earnings:
1. Blend the Ads in with your Site – Create colors for your ads that will blend in with the colors on your website. The idea is to make the ads look less like ads and more like just another part of your site. To do this , make the Adsense ad border and background the same color as your website background. Also make the link text the same color as your website link text. This small change should significantly increase your Adsense click thru rate.
2. Place the Ads Correctly – Place the ads in a prominent position on your website. No point placing the ads where they are not going to be seen by the vast majority of your websites visitors. The most effective places to position your ads are at the top centre of your site and at the top right hand-side. Website visitor eyes tend to move from top centre to top right so anywhere in this area is good and of course you can find the most appropriate ads to fit well in these areas.
3. Choose the Most Profitable Ad Format – Through testing it has been found that the most effective Google Adsense format is the (338×280) large rectangle. This ad will outperform all the others but do not sacrifice the design of your website by squeezing one of these ads in where it just doesn’t look right. Placing a large rectangle in the centre of the page is more preferable to putting it in one of the side columns where the layout will be effected.
4. Wrap Your Content – Through proper formatting you can wrap the content of your site around the ads. This is especially effective when wrapping a website article around a (338×280) ad. If you visit any of my sites that have articles on them you can see how this looks. For instructions how to do this just Google “wrap text around Google Adsense”.
5. Maintain Relevant Content – Although Google’s automatic script for targeting ads to the content of your site is mostly first class there are times when it doesn’t match the right ad to your content. The way to avoid this is to place good quality targeted content on your pages. If you are creating websites specifically to earn from Google then make sure to focus the keywords around one topic. Placing various keywords on a variety of unrelated topics will result in untargeted ads on your site.
The most important point when placing Google adsense on your websites is to stay within Google’s terms of service which you can find on their site. Many people have lost their Adsense accounts through flirting with dodgy practices in order to increase earnings. This may pay off in the short term but Google will always catch you out in the end.

Effective Link Building Tips for Online Marketers
There is no secret to effective link building. It is simply a game of time vs money.
Time vs money? Let me explain.
If you have been reading ebooks on link building, you would have read about the different ways of effective link building:
– article marketing
– social bookmarking
– press release
– RSS
– web 2.0 sites
– website directories
– blog comments
If you have all the time in the world, you can do everything yourself. If not, you will have to spend money to get the work done.
That’s why I said link building is a game of time vs money.
Good news or bad news?
I think it’s good news.
When you first started, you can spend more time, less money.
As you make more money, you can spend more money and less time.
Frankly, I didn’t do everything I’m supposed to do when it comes to link building. For example, I seldom create Squidoo lens or Hubpages to link to my Adsense websites. I also seldom post blog comments or write a press release for my Adsense websites.
Reason? Again, it’s time vs money.
I should have done all these, but I didn’t. If you can, by all means do all of them!
I follow a standard link building method for most of my websites.
Recently, I added Linkvana to my link building arsenal.
If you’ve just started, I suggest that you use the following free (or almost free) strategies:
1. Article marketing
This should be your #1 strategy. You should prepare at least 5 400-words articles, each linking to your homepage and one internal page, and submit them to the top article directories and then mass-submit them to hundreds of smaller article directories through a mass submission service.
2. Social bookmarking
Social bookmarking is the way I get my new website indexed in the search engines quickly. I submit to Digg and Propeller for social bookmarking.
3. Directory submission
Forget about most of the semi-automated directory submitter in the market.
The most time consuming part in directory submission is waiting for the website to load. And the way to speed up the submission process is to have the ability to open multiple websites at the same time, something like the tab feature in Firefox and IE7.
4. Blog comments
I seldom do blog comment posting. Why? Because it’s time consuming. But it’s a great method, frankly.
Remember this: I would rather have 1 PR3 “webpage” linking to my website compared to 100 PR0 “webpages”. Note that I say webpage, not website.
For example, ezinearticle is a PR 6 website. But if you submit an article to it, the page with your article and link usually have PR 0.
How do you find high PR “webpages” to link to you?
Well, the answer is blog comment posting.
Your job is to find blog posts with high PR and with no “no-follow”.

Google Adsense: 7 Tips For Creating Sites That Make Money
Google AdSense: 7 Tips For Creating Sites That Make Money by: Neil Bartlett
Having a Google AdSense site is a great way to make money. And to create an AdSense site, all you have to do is have a Google AdSense account (which is free), a website or a blog (which is free), and some articles (which are free if you write them yourself). Once you get your site up and running, the adsense ads will be targeted to your content.
Therefore, those looking for your content will come by, read your articles, and have a high probability of being interested in the targeted ads. Every time someone clicks an ad, you get paid! That is, as long as you have designed your site to maximize AdSense clickthroughs!
Let’s look at seven tips for creating adsense sites that create money.
#1: Keyword Density
Before you place ads on your site, be sure your keyword density is good. You will want to be sure that the right kinds of ads are placed on your site. A free way to determine what the ads will look like on your site is to go to http://www.resultsgenerator.com/adsense/ and type in your keywords. You will then be able to see exactly what ads would show on your site.
If you don’t like what you see, then you know that you need to make changes to your keywords! You can get keyword suggestions from Results Generator from Overture or from the free trial version of Word Tracker.
#2: Focused
Not only will the ads be based on your keywords, but they will also be based on your content. You definitely want your keywords and your content to match as closely as possible.
#3: Write Often
The more information you have the better. Why? Because the more content you have, the more visitors you get. Many people suggest that you write a new article every day since no one wants to come back to your site to find the same old messages!
#4: Choose The Right Format
AdSense allows you to choose many different ad formats. Research has shown that wider ads are more successful. The top three formats are:
” 336×280 large rectangle
” 300×250 medium rectangle
” 160×600 wide skyscraper
Additionally, the 468×15 horizontal ad link under the navigation bar is also a good bet.
#5: Color Counts
You have the option to create a Google AdSense ad in any color of your choice. The best thing to do is to make your ad blend well with your site color scheme. You should make the border color and the background color the same color as your web site. You will want your text color to either be black or the color of your main content.
When creating your Google AdSense ads it is recommended to use the color scheme and style of your website so that the ads blend in well. Ads without background color and borders perfom better than ads within borders with background color.
#6: Position Counts, Too
It is well known that visitors to a website scan the site to determine if it is worth reading. You definitely want them to see and scan your AdSense ads. Therefore, the best place to put them is in the top left part of your page or directly under your headlines.
#7: Increase The Number
AdSense allows you to use up to three AdSense units on a page, two AdSense search boxes, and one unit of ad links. Using all that you can increases the chances of earning money.
Keep these seven tips in mind when creating your AdSense site and you will find that your clickthrough rates increase, thus increasing your money making potential.

The Key To Earning Money Using Adsense
1. The Quality of The Content On Your Site
Is the content worth reading?
Is it useful to visitors on your site?
Will the visitors come back to your site agian?
Are they going to subscribe to your feed or newsletter?
Don’t bother using out dated articles that are getting copied and pasted a million times on the internet. Google will not bother to index these, you may also get ranked lower for duplicate content.
Work on original content that is well presented and of real value to the visitors coming to your site. Go for quality rather than quantity, this will result in long term income.
Do the work well and it will pay you for a long time.
2. Targeted Traffic To Your Site
The hardest task is getting high quality traffic to your website. You should carry on building your website and at the same time start marketing it. Once you start getting link backs to your site, your search engine rankings will start to go up.
You should explore: SEO, Exchanging Links, Article Marketing….
Try and exchange links with other websites in your niche area.
3. Adsense Ad Placement
Once your site has good content and a high volume of targeted traffic coming to it, you can start optimizing your adsense ad placement.
You can start testing different ad sizes, colours and locations. You can track your earnings for various test placements, sizes and colour by using adsense channels.
Once you find the best earning combination, stick with it and carry on building your content and traffic.
Try and work with a system that you can use to dynamically place adsense code on your web pages. You can do this easily using wordpress blogging software and plugins.
You need to be able to manage the code and placement for adsense, for all your pages for one location.
If you are not using blogging software you can achieve this using dynamic linking to your adsense code by creating them in php or asp.

How to Use Article Marketing to Generate Traffic to Your Adsense Website
Article Marketing is one of the best methods to drive targeted traffic to your web site. It is a proven method that will always work. You see search engines love article directories and the pages on these sites naturally rank high. Since you are already writing unique articles for content on your website, then you should also submit them to article directories. Get more bang for your hard work.
Here is a list of some of the best article directories:
1. ezinearticles.com
2. goarticles.com
3. articledashboard.com
4. articlesbase.com
When starting out with article marketing there are a few steps to follow to maximize your traffic potential.
1. Keyword Selection – Do your keyword research and look for keywords or keyword phrases with low competition. To start with use keywords with less than 20,000 competing pages.
2. Unique Content – It is best to write your own articles so they are unique, but if you use PLR articles, please make sure to rewrite those articles. If you just submit a PLR article to article directories, they will not accept them. They do want duplicate content in their directory because they will lose page rank and authority.
3. Write content that is helpful and useful to the reader – Search engines change their algorithms all the time, but the one constant thing they want is quality content.
4. Write your article for people, not for a search engine. You want them to read your article and then click on the link to your site.
Your article will consist of three parts. The Title, body and signature.
1. The Title – When writing your title use your main keyword at least once and list a clear benefit to the reader. Your title should grab the readers attention so they will click it and read the full article. The title is also what shows up on the search engine results, so this is another reason why it has to grab the readers attention.
Using the words “how to” or “tips” are ways to grab the readers attention.
2. The Body – The first paragraph will contain your main keyword as close to the beginning as possible and should reinforce your title. The rest of your article should not be a sales pitch about a product or service that you eventually want them to buy. Most article directories will not accept these types of review articles. Remember they want quality content.
Since most people like to scan through material on the internet, use lists or bullets in your article. This will entice the reader to read your article.
Break your article into paragraphs. This will make it easier to read.
3. The Signature – This can be called a “bio box” or “resource box” as well. This is where you advertise and add your links to your site. This should make your reader want to click on the link to visit your site. Remember, this person is all ready interested in your niche. So make sure you write a compelling signature to make sure they click and visit your site.
Always create an anchor text link with one of your keywords in your signature. You want to rank high for that keyword in the search engines.
Always use the full URL with the [http://] as most sites will automatically make that into a live link.
An example of signature: Discover the secrets of [keyword] with this amazing [keyword] guide. Go here to learn the secrets now: [put your full web address here]
Article marketing is a great method to generate traffic and also brand your self as an expert in your field. Start writing articles and start to watch as your traffic increases.

How does google adsense determine what is good traffic and what is low quality traffic? What are some examples
Example of low quality traffic is Trafficswarm and all those 100,000 hits for only $29.99 schemes.
Low quality traffic is traffic that you get for the heck of getting those 100,000 hits, never mind if those 100,000 hits are not even remotely interested in what your site is all about or what your content is or what you have to offer. They just need to click on the links they are presented — one of which is your site — in order that they get the points that will allow others to click on their site as well.
It is useless traffic because the visitors are not interested in your site. That means these “visitors” will not even look at your content — much less the ads. Majority of these “visitors” will not even go past your homepage. Google thinks it is a disservice to their advertisers as there is no chance that these people will be genuinely interested in the ads.
Yahoo Publishers Network is even stricter in defining low quality traffic, as it is known to kick out publishers where the bulk of their traffic comes from MySpace. YPN thinks MySpace traffic is crap and removes those publishers that depend on MySpace.

So much for empowerment – a lousy example for kids?
I know that “girl power” wasn’t reallly anything other than a cynical marketing technique for the Spice Morons, but since when did female empowerment involve shacking up with a convicted thug and woman basher??

AARGH!
I hate to point out the obvious, but what do YOU know about girl power? Chicks rule!!!

Are my Google Adsense banners position and color set right?
Hi guys,
I’ve been writing a blog for a little while now and am getting a few clicks on my Google Adsense. I’ve tried to follow guidelines online for the best way to position and colour them, but I wonder am I doing it right?
My site is at http://www.balanceboardblog.com
Can anyone let me know what they think, and how I can improve?
I recently added one Google Refferal ad, but it has had no clicks.
Thanks for your help. =)
I suggest you look at the Google heat map for blog , though I think the placement of the ads are good
https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=43869
However, I strongly suggest you experiment to see which one would work better. For example, instead of blending the ads, tinker with it in terms of color and make it stand out. Then compare it with the data you have when the ads are blended well into the site
You never know which will work until you try various options
